An active pattern will usher in rounds of rain and snow for the valleys and mountains of northern Utah over the course of the next 4 days. Highlighting today, there is a chance for accumulating snow north of SLC in Box Elder County where Brigham City to the Idaho border could pick up tr-2″, northern mountains do 5-10″, Wasatch Front valleys could see a trace but most of it falls as rain. More waves of rain and snow are set to move in Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you add it all up over the next 4 days we could see .50-1.00″ of water in the valleys with some light snow accumulations possible and 2.00-3.00 of water in the mountains equating to 18-36″ of new snow!
