Video: Morning weather forecast for Dec. 6, 2024
Dec 6, 2024, 6:27 AM | Updated: 6:38 am
Areas of patchy fog have developed along the shoreline of the Great Salt Lake this morning, expect these fog banks to back off in the late morning. High pressure will finally open the door for a dry cold front to brush through northern and central Utah Sunday evening into Monday. Not much moisture is associated with this cold front, but it should be enough to help improve air quality along the Wasatch Front by Sunday night. Overall accumulation of precip is low, but we’ll keep out 1-4″ of mountain snow potential in north and central Utah. Still monitoring valley potential, but looks between .05″ – .20″. Highs in the beginning of next week with me in the upper 30s with cleaner skies. – Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 12.6.24
