Video: Morning weather forecast for Jan. 23, 2025

Brisk blue skies today as the west coast high pressure system continues to block any big storms. Things start to change as early as tomorrow with increasing cloud cover out ahead of a low pressure system. This low will drop off into California and provide the chance for some light snow across the Wasatch Front. Snow accumulations look light in the valleys 0-2″ with 1-6″ possible in the mountains of northern Utah. Eventually some precip chances will fire up in southern Utah, nothing heavy but at least something come Sunday/Monday time frame, updates as we get closer. – Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 1.23.25
