Nov 5, 2024, 6:22 AM | Updated: 6:38 am
An unorganized cold front will bring light rain/snow showers to the state today, mainly the upper two-thirds of Utah and won’t be amounting to much. The window for highest rain/snow chances will be morning through early evening hours. Cold air filters into the state behind the front keeping highs at least 10 below the normal through Friday. This is a low accumulation event: northern and central valleys less than 1″ of snow with rain mixed in, benches/Wasatch Back trace to 2″, northern mountains 2-4″, and central mountains 3-6″. – Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 11.5.24
