A morning cold front will produce wet roads for AM commuters this morning with snow levels up above 8500′. Showers clear out this afternoon, but only temporarily as a second cold front will plow through the state tonight and into tomorrow. Rain will mix with snowflakes at times early Friday morning along the Wasatch Front. Storm clears out of northern Utah Friday but lingers in southern Utah into Saturday morning. The Wasatch Front could see rain from .25-.75″ with a few spots up to 1″+, central and southern valleys (including southeastern Utah) between .50-1″, and St. George up to a quarter. Mountain snow: northern mountains 5-10″, cottonwood canyons 8-16″, Uinta mountains 10-20″, southern mountains 6-12″ with locally higher in the Tushar mountains.
