Video: POLICE CHASE: Fleeing driver almost hits Millard County deputy before crashing into a ditch

On Nov. 14, 2023, Lerenzo Montell Echols, 22, and Lucky J. Hathaway, 21, attempted to flee from a traffic stop in Millard County, Utah.
While fleeing from police, the driver, Echols, almost hit the deputy who was trying to place spike strips.
Eventually, Echols drove the car into a ditch, resulting in his and Hathaway’s arrests.
In 2024, the two accepted separate plea deals. Echols was ordered to spend 340 days in the Millard County Jail. Hathaway was sentenced to at least five years in the Utah State Prison.
