Video: POLICE CHASE: Security cameras catch armed burglars looking through cars in North Salt Lake

In the early morning hours of Nov. 17, 2024, security cameras caught several suspects armed with what appeared to be short-barreled rifles roaming a North Salt Lake neighborhood.
According to North Salt Lake police and residents, the suspects burglarized at least five cars and stole a car from a garage.
A North Salt Lake police officer found the two cars at a nearby gas station and attempted a traffic stop, but they fled in the cars. Because both cars were going 80mph in a residential neighborhood, the officer stopped the pursuit over safety concerns.
At the time of publishing, the suspects are still outstanding.
