SALT LAKE CITY – Two high school students from Nebo School District walked away with $20,000 after winning Utah’s top student pitch competition.
Congratulations, Jenna Rowley and Emily Hobbs, for taking first place at Invest Nest. They won their company, which adds natural caffeine and pain relievers to chocolate bars to help ease menstrual symptoms, like cramping.
All the items competed in a Shark Tank-style product pitch. Jenna and Emily won the grand prize, but a total of $40,000 was distributed to seven schools in Utah and Idaho for all of their business ideas.
