KSL Community Calendar

Trying to get the word out about your community event? Submit your event listing to our on-air KSL Community Calendar for consideration. (We do not have an online calendar at this time.)

Note: Due to the volume of requests, we are not able to respond to all requests or guarantee listings. Submission does not guarantee your listing will air. Please give as much notice as possible. No phone calls, please. Thank you!

KSL Community Calendar

  • KSL Community Calendar is a 60-second segment that airs:
    • Weekdays on KSL 5 TV at 4:55 am (Early Today), 9:55 am (Today Show), and 12:55 pm (KSL 5 News at Noon).
    • On Saturdays, KSL Community Calendar spots air at 4:54 am, 5:26 am, 5:56 am, and 6:26 am (Saturday Today Show).
    • On Sundays, KSL Community Calendar spots air at 7:25 am and 7:55 am (Sunday Today Show).
  • Times/dates subject to change.
  • Highlights three events going on around the state and are produced on a rolling basis as determined by the station.
  • KSL 5 TV will determine whether or not there is availability and if the event meets the criteria to be featured.
  • Please give as much advance notice as possible. Two weeks before the event is the minimum.
  • Listings include: event date, title, location and website/phone. The full-screen graphic may include additional info that would be helpful to the viewer (such as the time and address) that may not be included in the script.
  • Please submit a 20-30 word summary of the event that we can edit for use on-air. KSL may or may not use what you send. The summary is required for consideration. Please see examples below or in the video above.

Summary examples:

March into spring with the Murray Concert Band on April 20th at Murray High School. Enjoy music from Chaminade, Korean folk songs and more!

See the story of star-crossed lovers Tony and Maria as they struggle to rise above the hatred and intolerance that surrounds them in “West Side Story,” April 16th through 21st at Capitol Theatre.

Celebrate West Point Elementary’s 140th birthday on September 26. Events include a 5K, a kids run, and breakfast with the mayor. Enjoy entertainment, including train rides, inflatables and music. More at runnercard.com.
