Devan Masciulli...

Devan Masciulli joined KSL in January 2024 and is the newest member of the KSL Weather Team. She is the afternoon meteorologist on KSL 5 News at 4PM. Before heading to Salt Lake City, Devan forecasted the weather in Peoria, Illinois as the weekend meteorologist for nearly two and a half years. During her time there, she was recognized by the Illinois News Broadcasters Association with a Crystal Mic Award for Use of Videography in her storm coverage of an EF3 tornado in Lewistown, IL.

Devan is from Northeast Philadelphia and is, indeed, a Philadelphia sports fan (go birds!). She attended Millersville University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology with a concentration in media and broadcasting. While studying, Devan also played softball for the Millersville Marauders all four years as an outfielder.

Growing up, Devan was always fascinated by the weather and watched the news quite a bit with her family. When it came time to determine a major for college, Devan remembered how much she enjoyed watching her local meteorologists and decided she wanted to do that job too.

Devan loves coffee, food, trying new things, and exploring, so if you have any recommendations for her to try, send them her way! She’s excited for the new challenge of mountain meteorology and learning more about what Utah has to offer.
