SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A red flag warning is in place for multiple Utah counties Wednesday.
KSL TV meteorologist Grant Weyman said the warning will be in place beginning at noon. The main concern is a storm that will involve lightning strikes with little rainfall.
According to the National Weather Service, lightning is expected to start new wildfires, and strong and gusty winds could contribute to rapidly spreading those fires.
