West Valley City Police are looking for a driver who they believe hit and killed a pedestrian.
Police say they got a call around 1 a.m. Sunday, when a driver spotted a body on the side of the S. Frontage Road, just west of the Rocky Mountain Raceway.
Investigators are looking for a 1992 to 2008 Econoline van that will likely have some front passenger side damage.
“If somebody sees the vehicle that matches the description with that damage on the right area, they should give us a call.
If somebody possibly could have been involved and not realized they were involved, which has happened in the past, they should give us a call, and we’ll come talk to them and look at their car,” said WVC PD Lt. Jeff Conger.
Police have not identified the victim yet, but say he was in his 30s.
