Utah Reports 203 New COVID-19 Cases, One New Death

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Health officials on Tuesday reported 203 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and one new deaths in Utah.
According to the Utah Department of Health, there have been a total of 10,202 cases and 113 deaths in the Beehive State.
The death total is the same number from Monday, however, a previously reported case was removed because health officials determined the patient was a resident of another state.
Tuesday’s death was a Salt Lake County man between the ages of 60 – 85 who was hospitalized at the time of death.
Of the confirmed cases, 801 required hospitalization. Currently, 108 patients are hospitalized and being treated for the coronavirus.
The state has issued 221,791 tests, and an estimated 6,319 patients have recovered.
UDOH is defining recovered patients as those with a diagnosis date of more than three weeks ago who have not passed away.
