SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – After a long absence, professional baseball is returning to Utah as the Salt Lake Bees prepare for their home opener.
But things will look a bit different this season, beginning when the Bees open a 12-game homestand against the Reno Aces on May 6 at Smith’s Ballpark.
Approximately 3,200 fans will be allowed in the stands and must adhere to safety guidelines set by Major League Baseball and local health and government officials.
Salt Lake will also play 120 games instead of 142, with the season going past its typical end date of Labor Day.
