SALT LAKE COUNTY— A man was taken into custody after breaking a glass vodka bottle over a woman’s head then dragging her through the glass and leaving her in freezing temperatures court documents state.
Police responded to a call Saturday evening about a woman running around the apartment who appeared to be in distress. When police arrived they found the woman in the doorway of an apartment complex covered in multiple “oozing lacerations up both legs and both arms” according to court documents.
The woman said she had fought with man she was formerly in a relationship with, identified as Tanner Dall. According to the woman, Dall escalated the altercation to the point of breaking a glass bottle of vodka over her head and dragged her through the broken glass. Dall then dragged the woman outside of her own apartment and allowed the door to close, locking them both out of the building.
Dall fled the scene in his father’s red GMC Sierra, leaving the woman in sub 25 degree temperatures. Dall was seen side swiping a black Ford F150 while leaving the complex and did not stop.
Court documents state Dall would not answer calls and would not answer the door at his home. The red truck was found in the driveway and had “comparable damage.” Police were able to find Dall at his residence and take him into custody.
He will face charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, and an accident involving property damage.
