Someone Stole All The Toilet Paper From The Kaysville Police Station Public Restroom

KAYSVILLE, Utah – The Kaysville Police Department took to Facebook on Friday to announce its building had just be pilfered.

According to the post, someone stole all the toilet paper from the public restrooms.

“For those of you preparing for the Coronavirus, what is the need for the hoarding of toilet paper?” KPD posted. “… We love our community and are here to serve you, but cops need toilet paper too!”

Shortly after the department posted about the brazen theft, a good Samaritan came to the rescue.

In a follow-up post, KPD stated that “a kind citizen just donated toilet paper to the police department.”

The resident reportedly told police: You need this more than I do.”

COVID-19 panic has caused led to people stocking up on items like toilet paper. In fact, according to a CNN report, stores in Australia have been limiting toilet paper purchases to four packs per person, and one store even hired a security guard to watch over the toilet paper aisle.

COSTCO announced sales at its stores that have been open at least a year jumped 12.1% in February as consumers flocked to locations to stock up on non-perishable food and toilet paper, according to a report from the Associate Press.
