Utah’s Population Increased By 400K People Since 2010
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah’s population is growing, and it’s growing fast.
According to a new report, The Beehive State has the fastest-growing population in the country.
The U.S. Census Bureau shows that Utah has seen the largest population boom since the economic recession. Since 2010, the state has grown by nearly 400,000 people.
That’s a 15 percent increase in Utah’s entire population in just eight years.
Big reasons for the rapid growth include young families and Utah’s strong job market, which continues to be bolstered by the state’s economy.
