The town of La Mora is under heavy military guard as the community of about 800 people deal with the loss of their loved ones. Three mothers and six children were brutally murdered earlier in the week on a road to Chihuahua.
“It was very difficult,” said resident William Langford. “Worst thing I’ve seen. Kids with bullet wounds. It was pretty bad. Horrible.”
The military guard is bringing some safety during the funerals, but area residents are reporting they no longer feel safe and are considering relocating.
New video shows the moment 7-month-old Faith was found alive inside one of the damaged vehicles.
Family members said Faith’s mother, Christina Langford Johnson, hid the child inside the car before stepping out of the SUV with her hands up.
She was shot and killed but Faith was found 11 hours later, still alive.
