18th COVID-19 Death Reported In Utah, 104 New Cases

SALT LAKE CITY — One more person has died from COVID-19 in the state of Utah, bringing the total number of deaths to 18, according to numbers released by the Utah Department of Health.
As of numbers released Saturday around 11:30 a.m., 2,206 have tested positive for coronavirus, and 190 have been hospitalized.

A total of 42,546 people have been tested in the state. Just over 5 percent of people who have been tested have been confirmed to carry the virus.
Salt Lake County has reported the most cases with 1,071 and 94 hospitalizations.
Information about the new fatality has not been released.
