Gov. Herbert Approves Mask Mandate For Logan

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Gov. Gary Herbert on Thursday approved a request by the City of Logan to require masks in public spaces.
The Utah Department of Health made the announcement on Twitter.
There are also mask mandates in Summit, Salt Lake and Grand counties. Reports from both Salt Lake and Summit counties show new COVID-19 cases have stabilized since the mask mandates were put into place.
A mask mandate is also in place for all K-12 schools once classes begin.
Herbert and other state leaders will be holding a press conference with an update on the COVID-19 pandemic at 11:30 a.m. KSL TV will stream the press conference live on our Facebook page and on our app.
