WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Officers with the West Valley City Police Department arrested a man accused of riding his skateboard while naked in front of children at a park.
Court documents said 29-year-old Elvis Sabanagic, of Salt Lake City, faces charges of lewdness involving a child and two drug charges – all misdemeanors.
According to the document, police were called to the West Valley skatepark on Tuesday. “Witnesses reported that a male, identified as Defendant Elvis Sabanagic, was riding his skateboard at the skatepark while naked,” the document said.
The arresting officer said children as young as 6 years old saw Sabangic as well as 30-40 adults.
Witnesses told police that Sabanagic arrived at the park fully clothed but then stripped down naked.
Sabanagic left the park before police arrived but they later found him at Centennial Park. Police said he had marijuana, a lighter and tin foil in the shape of a pipe in his possession.
Court documents said Sabanagic “is currently being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on eight other matters. He has a pending 2018 lewdness charge.”
