SLC police investigating after two people shot at party

SALT LAKE CITY — Officers with the Salt Lake City Police Department are investigating after they say several people started fighting at a large party and two men were shot.
The incident started before 3 a.m. Sunday when officers were dispatched to a reported shooting at 368 W. 900 South.
Police secured the scene and said they located evidence of a shooting, including blood on the ground.
No gunshot victims were located at the party, but police were later told two men, a 29-year-old and a 30-year-old, went to a local hospital with gunshot injuries.
One was shot in the ankle and the other was shot in the calf. Neither injury was considered life-threatening.
Police said bullet holes were also located in a car at the scene of the shooting.
