TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — A distracted driver drove past a red light, causing a two-vehicle crash, according to Taylorsville Police.
On Saturday at approximately 6 p.m., a pickup truck traveling westbound on 4700 S 3600 W ran a red light, T-boning a Chevy Cruise.
A Taylorsville PD officer told KSL that the crash caused the truck to roll.
Both drivers had minor injuries, with the driver of the Chevy sent to the hospital by a family member.
Taylorsville PD believes no one was under the influence during the crash, but the truck driver was on the phone.
