$50K Worth Of Stolen Goods Found During Traffic Stop

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – An officer made an unexpected find during a traffic stop in southern Utah, and it led to two arrests.
A stash of stolen goods worth $50,000 were recovered from the vehicle.
Mario J. Varga and Fernando G. Vega-Gort were arrested after an officer pulled them over for speeding. The officer said he smelled marijuana and began searching the car.
He found bags full of clothes, purses, cologne and shoes, many with the security tags still attached. Police then discovered a bag full of marijuana.
The two men face theft and drug charges.
