SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The community came together Saturday in search of missing Farmington teen, Justice Eaves.
17-year-old Justice Eaves was last seen on Wednesday, according to her parents, Ryan and Darcy Eaves.
On Saturday, family and friends gathered to distribute flyers and look for justice in downtown Salt Lake City, Farmington, and Ogden after a prayer vigil held at Elevation Church in Clearfield.
Friends posted flyers near the Salt Lake City downtown Trax station on North Temple after receiving a tip indicating Justice Eaves was recently seen in the area.
According to Justice Eaves’ parents, she left the family home in Farmington on Wednesday to catch a bus to the Kaysville library and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Her parents said there was no triggering event to cause her to leave on unhappy terms.
They described Justice Eaves as a cheerful teenager with a disposition to please others, which they fear may make her more vulnerable.
“That desire to please makes her sort of an easy target for people to take advantage of and that is why we are very scared of for her,” Darcy Eaves said.
Darcy Eaves also said that Justice Eaves is on medication for depression and has been without it since she left.
They say she has a long history of victimization and may be highly susceptible to manipulation by older men.
Her parents have filed a report with the Farmington Police Department.
Justice Eaves is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes.
Her parents say she changes her hair color often but, most recently, she had it dyed brown.
