U.S. 189 was closed in Provo Canyon as crews cleared the roadway – as of 4 p.m. Friday, it was reopened to vehicles with four-wheel drive or chains.

Officials said all occupants are out of the vehicle but did not confirm any injuries.
Utah Department of Transportation spokesperson John Gleason said the crash and hazardous weather conditions led to the closure.
