School, Government Closures And Delays During Thursday’s Storm

SALT LAKE CITY – Another winter storm hit the northern part of the state, affecting the early morning commute Thursday. Some schools announced potential late starts due to the slick, snowy conditions. We’ve been following those reports, and will continue to update this article as information comes down.
If you don’t see a government agency or school listed here, that means their schedule will most likely be operating like normal.
Officials with the Juab School District sent out an announcement around 5 p.m. Wednesday saying they were considering implementing a two-hour late start Thursday morning.

They notified parents at 6:00 a.m. Thursday that schools would be in session with no delayed start. They made sure to remind parents and students to plan their travel accordingly.
All schools are in session with NO delayed start. Please use caution when traveling to schools this morning. Snow and ice are prevalent. Plan travel accordingly.

We heard reports that Capitol Hill Academy, a private school located in Salt Lake City, would be closed Thursday.
