Dept. Of Health: 369 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 Additional Deaths

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Officials with the Utah Department of Health reported two additional deaths and 369 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
The state’s seven-day rolling average for positive tests was 354, while the seven-day rolling average for percent of positive laboratory tests was 8.7%.
Currently, 131 people are hospitalized with COVID-19.
Saturday’s reported deaths raised the state’s death toll to 385. They included two Salt Lake County residents:
- Female, older than 85, long-term care facility resident
- Male, between 65-84, long-term care facility resident
Just under 3,000 tests (2,966) were reported Saturday. Over 40,300 cases were considered recovered by state health officials.
A person is considered recovered by state officials if they were diagnosed with COVID-19 more than three weeks ago and have not died.
