Olympic Swim Venue Ready; Now Comes Hard Part: COVID-19

TOKYO (AP) — Tokyo has opened its new Olympic swimming venue.
Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike pointed out that it was finished eight months ago, just weeks before the Tokyo Olympics were postponed until next year by the coronavirus. Koike says “We have now completed all the new venues.”
Now comes the hard part for Tokyo Olympic organizers: figuring out how to run the Olympics in the middle of a pandemic.
More than 15,000 Olympic and Paralympic athletes will have to enter the country along with thousands of officials, judges, media, broadcasters, and VIPs.
It has not been announced whether both Japanese and non-Japanese fans will be allowed to attend.
