Davis County Health Department guidelines require schools with more than 15 cases of COVID-19 within a two week period to switch to online classes.
District officials said the school will return to in-person classes on Nov. 18.
There will be no classes on Wednesday to give teachers time to prepare for the switch to online learning.
Students will follow the B-day schedule when online classes start on Thursday. Officials said students should follow the traditional bell schedule and meet in their designated Teams channel. Students are encouraged to check the homepage of each course in Canvas.
Athletic games and competitions will happen as scheduled. If three or more team members test positive for COVID-19, that team will be quarantined for 14 days, according to the Utah Department of Health COVID-19 School Manual.
