Lori Vallow attorney removed from her murder case

REXBURG, Idaho – The judge overseeing Lori Vallow’s death penalty case has kicked her privately hired attorney off the case.
The move followed a recent request from state prosecutors to remove attorney Mark Means.
According to the Judge, Means had a conflict of interest in representing Vallow because he previously represented her husband and co-defendant Chad Daybell.
Vallow’s court-appointed public defender will once again represent her.

Vallow and Daybell face the death penalty in the murders of Vallow’s children — Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow — as well as Tammy Daybell, Daybell’s first wife.
Judge Steven Boyce recently ordered the couple be tried together, but they each will have a unique case number and independent representation.
