Unprecedented Turnout Slowing Voting Results
Nov 8, 2018, 9:36 AM
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The midterms may officially be over, but some of the key races in Utah remain undecided.
Many are wondering when exactly the final results will be available.
Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox said the counting and verifying of ballots takes time. With the unprecedented voter turnout the state saw this year, he said the process simply cannot be sped up.
Some numbers updates are anticipated through the end of the week, though.
Cox said nothing is official until the canvass, which will be Nov. 20.
