ST. GEORGE, Utah – Police say a possible road rage incident escalated when an occupant in one car fired a gun and hit another car somewhere on Main Street in St. George.
It is unknown at this time if the two drivers or any of their occupants know each other or are connected in any way.
Police are now looking for the person responsible. They say no one was injured, but there is property damage to the car.
A man who was in the vehicle where the gun was fired is cooperating with police, Officer Tiffany Atkin with St. George police said.
Dispatch told KSL TV police were asking the public to avoid the area near 600 S. and Main Street. Atkin would not give an exact address.
This is a developing story and more information will be added as it is available.
