White Nationalist Group Recruiting At University Of Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A white supremacist group is reportedly trying to recruit at the University of Utah campus.

The organization, Identify Evropa, is designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center for its extremist views on immigration.

The group has been behind some racist banners and posters that have been found on campus.

University President Ruth Watkins has spoken out against the group — and racism as a whole.

“Let me be clear,” she said. “While our campus is an open forum where individuals may express their views, the rhetoric used by these groups does not align with or reflect the University of Utah’s values.”
