Person In Custody After Allegedly Stabbing A Man In The Back

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A man is in custody after he allegedly stabbed another man in the back before fleeing.

Unified Police arrested Fahim Abaid Al Bakawi, 46, in connection with the stabbing that happened at 3365 S. 900 East at approximately 10:14 p.m. Thursday.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Officers arrested Al Bakawi in the same area at 2:55 a.m. Friday when they responded to a call of a prowler.
