Pilot Dead After Plane Crashes, Catches Fire

FULLERTON, Calif. —  According to the FAA a plane crashed, rolled and caught on fire after leaving Fullerton Municipal Airport.

Fire officials confirmed the pilot was the only person on board and he did not survive the crash.

They are not releasing his identity at this time.

A flight tracking website shows the plane was heading to Heber City, Utah.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash.
