Life Flight Responds To Hang Glider Crash At Point Of The Mountain

LEHI, Utah – Life Flight transported a man to the hospital after a hang glider crash Monday morning, authorities said.
Spencer Cannon, Utah County Sheriff’s Office public information officer, said a 33-year-old man crashed from approximately 100 feet from the top of Flight Park State Recreation Area, which is located at Point of the Mountain. Authorities received the call at 8:24 a.m.
The person who contacted officials said the man possibly broke his legs and back, but medical personnel haven’t verified the hang glider’s injuries.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
