2 Teens Taken Into Custody After Elementary School Break-in

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Two 15-year-olds are in custody Wednesday following a break-in at Granger Elementary School.
According to police, the two teens allegedly smashed open the back door of the school to steal a laptop. Surveillance video showed two juveniles wearing bandannas breaking into the building.
Police responded to the school’s alarms, which were triggered at approximately 2 a.m. With the help of a K-9 officer named Maverick, authorities were able to find the suspects hiding in a field.
The laptop was returned, and the two juveniles are in custody.
