Police Shut Down Center Street In Logan In Search For Missing Girl

LOGAN, Utah — There was a heavy police presence Wednesday afternoon in Logan, near the home from which a 5-year-old girl went missing Saturday.
The location is just about a half block from the family home of little Lizzy Shelley.
Police set up behind some homes along the street, possibly for a search.
From KSL TV’s Chopper 5, tents could be seen set up behind some homes near an area of trees and brush.

Logan City Police tweeted that they were investigating a “very credible tip” about the location of “Lizzy.”
Elizabeth “Lizzy” Shelley’s uncle Alex Whipple was charged today with murder and kidnapping related to her disappearance.
They have since confirmed the Shelley’s body was recovered today in their search.
