One Person Dies In Ogden House Fire

OGDEN, Utah – A person died in a house fire late Thursday night, police said.

The incident happened at approximately 11 p.m. at 2016 Monroe Blvd.

According to a statement from the Ogden Fire Department, crews were able to extinguish the flames quickly. However, while searching the house, they discovered the victim, who was still alive.

The person was transported to the hospital but later died.

Officials have not released the victim’s identity.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
