SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – No, it’s not just your computer.
Facebook and Facebook-owned apps all experienced outages Wednesday, which caused issues uploading and viewing images and videos.
Facebook took to Twitter to let users know that it’s “working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible,” and added a #facebookdown hashtag for good measure.

The social network did not post a message regarding the issues on its own site, though.
According to the website downdetector.com, which “offers a realtime overview of status information and outages for all kinds of services,” reports of Facebook outages jumped Wednesday morning. Eighty-five percent of those who lodged a complaint reported pictures were most affected. Nine percent said their newsfeed was wonky, and 4% reported they had issues logging in.
Downdetector.com has recorded two issues with Facebook so far this month and nearly 20 in June.
Other apps affected include WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.
