KAYSVILLE, Utah – Officers in Farmington and Kaysville are on the lookout for a man who exposed himself to young children at lemonade stands.
Police say a white man in his 30s, with a dark beard, exposed himself to four girls on the rail-trail at Burton Lane in Kaysville several weeks ago. He was on a bicycle, and he waved the girls over and said he had a flat tire before he exposed himself to them.
Earlier last week, they think the same man flashed a 7-year-old girl at a lemonade stand at a neighborhood in Kaysville. There are similarities in the descriptions.
In Farmington, the police chief said a man exposed himself to several young children at lemonade stands three different times earlier this summer. The most recent incident was June 21st.
Kaysville police are looking over surveillance video, but they’re not ready to release images until they’re more confident about what they’ll show.
Police are encouraging parents to be watchful of young children when they’re outside.
“There’s great concern,” said Lt. Paul Thompson of the Kaysville Police Department.
Police said this is a good time to let children know that if anything happens, they should tell their parents immediately.
Police said they can also visit neighborhoods as part of community outreach that will increase police presence in the area.
