WEST POINT, Utah – Officials in Davis County have arrested a woman on suspicion of child abuse.
Police arrested Jennifer Worzalla, 32, of West Point, after neighbors reported seeing a 10-year-old girl running from the home yelling “don’t hurt me” to her mother.
Authorities said Worzalla took the girl back inside and locked her in a bedroom. The girl then wrote a note that stated her mother had hit her, and she passed the note to her 7-year-old brother. Her brother then took it to a neighbor who contacted police.
Neighbors also told officials that the children have asked them for food and told them they were forced to eat sriracha sauce when they were in trouble.
Worzalla has been book into the Davis County Jail.
