Truck Takes Out Street Light In St. George Crash

ST. GEORGE, Utah – A truck hauling heavy equipment crashed and damaged a street light along St. George Boulevard, according to public information officer Tiffany Atkin with the St. George Police Department.
The crash happened Monday morning and temporarily closed the boulevard at 400 West.
Atkin said the truck was turning right off St. George Boulevard when it hit the light, which came to a rest on top of the construction equipment.
Crews worked to clear the incident and Atkin said vehicles were diverted onto 400 West or into the Smith’s parking lot until the boulevard reopened.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
