BASIN, Wyo. – A manhunt is currently underway in Wyoming for an escaped prison inmate, authorities said.
According to the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office, three inmates lured a detention officer into a cell block by pretending one of the inmates was sick. They then assaulted the officer, tied him up and stole his keys.
The three men then found their way to the dispatch area and assaulted the dispatcher. Officials said the inmates forced the dispatcher to show them how to open the garage door so they could escape.
The prisoners made it out of the facility. Two have since been recaptured, but one is still on the run.
Wyoming authorities are warning that Andrew Parham, 25, should be considered dangerous. He is 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weights 185.
