Body Of Missing Hiker Found In Logan Canyon

LOGAN, Utah – The body of a missing hiker was found by search and rescue crews in Logan Canyon, according to Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen.

Jensen said the 76-year-old Utah native had been missing since Sunday and search and rescue teams were notified on Tuesday.

The body was located between the Girl Scout camp at Spring Hollow and ‘Old Ephraim’s Grave.’

Jensen said the man was not identified at this time because next of kin need to be notified, and more information would be released Thursday morning.
