Car Rams Pawn Shop In Murray During Attempted Burglary, Police Say

MURRAY, Utah – Murray City Police are investigating after a person crashed a vehicle into a pawn shop entrance.
The crash happened at EZPAWN, 80 E. 4500 South, early Tuesday morning.
The impact caused extensive damage to the building, and the business’s door was pushed off its frame and the surrounding cinderblock wall was cracked.

Officials said the subject intentionally rammed the door as part of an attempted burglary. The person and the vehicle used to hit the building was discovered down the street.
Police said the car had been stolen.
It was not immediately clear if anything had been stolen from the pawn shop.
No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made. Police said a suspect has not been identified.
