Victim, Suspect Identified In South Salt Lake Homicide
SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — The identities have been released of a man and woman who were found dead inside a South Salt Lake residence.
The incident happened at 2889 South Eugene Lane shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday.
When officers entered the townhome, they found Hoover and Gorst dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police suspect it was a murder-suicide.
“Early indications seem to be a strong possibility of a murder-suicide, however again, no conclusions have been made at this point in time,” said Sgt. Matthew Oehler with SSLPD.
Police said there were no documented cases of domestic violence between the couple.
