Authorities investigating fatal rollover crash on SR-201

SALT LAKE COUNTY — One woman has died and another was injured after a rollover crash on state Route 201 in Salt Lake County.
The incident happened near mile post 1 around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Officials with the Utah Department of Public Safety said the two women were traveling eastbound in a Subaru Legacy when the car went off the roadway and rolled.
The passenger was pronounced dead on scene, while the driver was transported to Intermountain Medical Center with minor injuries.
Officials said the passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
“Alcohol impairment is suspected with the driver,” read a press release from DPS.
The incident remains under investigation.
Officials have not released the victim’s identity.
