EPHRAIM, Utah — Investigators in Sanpete County are searching for a missing college student who was last seen Monday night leaving her dorm.
Friends say Madelyn Allen, a 19-year-old freshman, is a good student who has only missed one day of class all semester. So when she missed her final Wednesday, they knew something was wrong. They had already heard she was missing, and now they fear Allen is in trouble.
“I’m pretty worried,” said Ariana Mastin, who became fast friends will Allen when the two first started college a few months ago. “As soon as I heard she was missing, I was like, that is not like her to not come home, I wouldn’t be out on my own that late, it’s just not like her.”

Campus police now have the FBI looking at the teen’s digital footprint. “The FBI is tracking where her cell phone has been,” said Mike Daniels, dean of students at Snow College.
Daniels said the school has never experienced anything like this before, and they are very concerned.
“What she left with doesn’t lead you to believe she thought she was going to be gone long,” Daniels continued. “We are concerned she is in danger, she is not well.”
Allen appears to be an innocent teen in a YouTube video posted on Oct. 31. She tells subscribers random facts about herself, things like what her favorite flavor of ice cream is and how she loves Disney Plus.
Investigators say this is an isolated incident but will hold a news conference Thursday to provide an update on the case.
